1. CURB APPEAL

☐ Get rid of clutter. Remove any toys, gardening equipment, dead tree limbs and other yard debris.

☐ Brighten up the garden with fresh shrubs or flowers. Trim existing ones.

☐ Repair, paint or touch up fence, doors, siding and trim.

☐ Fix any damaged roof shingles and flashing. Clean gutters and downspouts.

☐ Clean windows, replace broken panes and fix torn screens.

☐ Wash the driveway and sidewalk. Patch cracks or holes.

☐ Clean up the garage and shed.

☐ Make sure outside lights and doorbells work.

2. INTERIOR PREPARATION – SPACIOUS, BRIGHT & WARM

☐ Wash walls, ceilings and trims. Consider painting with light, neutral colors. Repair any cracks.

☐ Tighten or replace loose knobs, towel racks, switch plates and outlets.

☐ Clean and repair caulking around tubs and sinks. Fix leaky faucets; remove water stains.

☐ Get rid of clutter! Clean and organize basement, closets, cabinets, kitchen and bathroom counters. This is a great way to dispose or donate items/pieces you do not want to take with you.
